ALERT!!!
Please advice SP9PDF-3 and OK8UOF to stop sending IS traffic to air with WIDE1-1 path immediately.
Cause QRM via OM3KHE digi over 200km far!
Propagate it localy with low power...
Thanks..

Hello Libor,
Please specify where is a problem? Because I do not understand.
SP9PDF-3 is low-power (5W) local Digi with Tx-Igate. It only forwards from APRSIS: WIDE1-1 ,Radius <30km, Message, Position, Items, Objects. Idea was to show TCP-IP stations from our region in RF. I and few other hams driving car a lot with D710 and we cannot see TCP-IP traffic. That's why I enabled APRSIS forward.

Probably OK0X digipeats our all our packets?

msg-path WIDE1-1
viscous-delay 3

</digipeater>

I can filtrate OK8UOF this is not a problem.
I attached RF-log from 1 day. Please give me your email by PM.

No base station is allowed to sent packets with the WIDE1-1 path. Only portable and mobile stations can use it.

Hi Andrzej,
So I shouldn't forward packets with path WIDE1-1, which path should I use?
This is default config from APRX manual, and when I looked at different configs people they have also choose path WIDE1-1.

Example from my RF-log:

Absolutnie bez ścieżki! A najlepiej wogóle nie przerzucać takich ramek.

Poprawiłem usunąłem ścieżkę i zmniejszyłem promień do 25km:

<digipeater>
    transmitter     $mycall
    <source>
source $mycall
relay-type directonly
viscous-delay 3
    </source>
    <source>
source APRSIS
relay-type third-party
viscous-delay 3
filter r/50.287/18.672/25
filter t/poim
    </source>
</digipeater>

Proszę o weryfikacje czy tak jest poprawnie:

Sorry for delay, I've been very busy these days..

Use for example LOCAL instead of WIDE1-1
For messages it is fine..
Anyway, 5W is pretty much for digipeater on 2m. I have 5W on local WIDE digi OK2KOJ-2 and X50 vertical and it's heard in Alps over 200km far.. :-)

my email is mycall at email.cz

I think it's not true exactly. Depends on local conditions. If there is good covering by WIDE digis, is good to use WIDE2-1 instead of course.
But if there is more-less poor covering and there are some fill-in digis around, is possible use WIDE1-1. But not for all trafficof course.
I use it only for messages and propagating local repeaters as objects. It's good for D7x0, VX8/FTM350 users, cause that is useful info for them.

See my config for dualband digi now..
